When To Replace Vape Coils

When vape coils begin to appear charred in appearance, it’s time to replace them. If you’ve just cleaned them and they appear to be extremely dark, replace them.

Here are some additional signs that it’s time to replace your vape coils:

Poor vapor production.
Burnt taste.
E-juice taste doesn’t meet expectation.
Gurgling noise present while vaping.
Vape juice leaking.

While the above signs are good indicators that it’s time for a coil replacement, that’s not always the case. For instance, with leaking vape juice, it could be the result of a rapid change in elevation or pressure, improper use, or simply a defective cartridge. With that in mind, if you do notice any of these signs, it’s likely a good idea to give your coils a check because they may be in need of replacement.
