The Daily Dot Calls Hera 2 The ‘Most Advanced Dual-Use Vaporizer’ In The World

Hera 2, a dual-use vaporizer with a two chamber design reminiscent of the Haze vaporizers by Haze Technologies, is a relatively new vape made by VapeDynamics. But the features don’t stop there, not by any means.

It has a touch screen display, support for dry herbs and extract, rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, active vibration (haptic feedback), Fahrenheit and Celsius support, the ability to seamlessly switch between ovens, and 100 different temperature settings that span from 350 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

The chambers are made from a combination of stainless steel and ceramic, two of the leading material choices for vape manufacturers who care about the quality of their vapor.

By The Daily Dot’s account, the Hera 2 vaporizer represents the future of vaping – or as they wrote:

“The future of vaping is here.”

Hera 2 has an appearance much like of a Pax vaporizer, only with the addition of a full-fledged digital display in place of Pax’s comparatively simple LED indicator. But like the Pax, it loads from the bottom. Its oven shape is, at a glance, reminiscent of what we see in the Pax vaporizers – only it’s broken into two halves. These two halves form the two separate chambers. One right next to the other.

Borrowing a design technique from the vape mod sector that seems to be increasingly popular in the portable vaporizer industry, VapeDynamics designed the new Hera vaporizer’s battery, a rechargeable 2680 mAh Lithium-ion, to be user-replaceable. As a result, the battery can be replaced by the user when it eventually dies. This also means that when it runs out of juice, it can be swapped out for a charged one, assuming there’s a charged spare battery on hand.

When fully charged, its battery is capable of providing 90 minutes of power before it must be recharged or replaced. In order to recharge its battery, the entire vape can be plugged into a USB outlet via its micro-USB charging cord.

As for the touch screen display, it’s a nod to the world of cell phones and something rarely seen since Vaporfection first released their viVape, the world’s very first touch screen vaporizer.
