E-Liquid Manufacturer Torden Brands Debuts “Lightning In A Bottle” Campaign With Billboard Advertisements In Times Square

In a bid to get the word about their new “Lightning in a Bottle” campaign, e-liquid manufacturer Torden Brands purchased advertising in New York City’s iconic Times Square.

The campaign, which kicked off on December 18, 2017 and ran clear through January 1, 2018, has already come to an end. During its span, the company’s digital advertisements were displayed across five billboards located in Times Square every two minutes. Each advertisement remained up for a total of 15 seconds, which in turn provided what was surely a considerable amount of exposure.

The company noted in a press release that these digital ads were guaranteed to ensure at least two million people saw them on New Year’s Eve alone, the day before the ad campaign came to an end. And at the drop of the ball, a whopping one billion individuals tuning in on their television sets to watch the ball drop were also exposed to the company’s digital ads, which were displayed on large digital billboards in Times Square.

Tim Lanier, the sales manager at Torden Brands, indicated in a statement that the company was aiming for “maximum impact” when they purchased the ads and that they saw the option to run their ads in Times Square as a “once in a lifetime opportunity.”

“We are looking to make maximum impact for our brand and we saw this as a once in a lifetime opportunity. With all the restrictions in place to advertise vape products, being able to put our name on five billboards in Times Square during the busiest time of the year is a huge win”
