Fast Company Calls Juul E-Cig ‘The Keurig Of Vaping’

Vaper Empire E-Liquids

In an article authored by Joel Johnson and published on the Fast Company website, Johnson referred to the Juul vaporizer as the “Keurig of vaping.” In other words, Juul’s vaporizers are to vaping what Keurig’s coffee makers are to coffee – or at least, that’s how we took it.

In the article, Johnson noted that Juul vapes are not only easier to carry than an ordinary pack of smokes, but also lighter. And unlike what he referred to as the “cheesy” e-cigs sold at gas stations with their glowing tips, Juuls are black, flat, and maintain sharp edges – an aesthetic appeal that Johnson compared to “half a pack of Darth Vader’s chewing gum,” whatever that means. While his reference has left us scratching our heads, his point is clear: Juul e-cigs look nothing like their competitors, they look better.

Currently, Juul Labs sells their devices at vape shops, gas stations, and stores across the United States and elsewhere. A typical kit, which comes with everything one needs to start vaping, comes with the vaporizer itself, which is rechargeable, 4 Juulpod packs composed of multiple flavors (these are equivalent to the cartridges used by other e-cigs), a USB charger, and a one-year manufacturer’s warranty on the vaporizer itself. The total cost for all this? Roughly $50 (USD) in the United States, or at least that’s how much they’re currently selling for on the manufacturer’s e-commerce website (online store).

Unlike quite a few of the nicotine containing cartridges sold by other manufacturers, Juul’s prefilled pods contain 5% nicotine. Many others range from no nicotine at all to 2.5% nicotine.

The flavors included with their Juul vaporizer kit include Cool Mint, Fruit Medley, Virginia Tobacco, and Creme Brulee.

For those who never want to run out of their precious e-juice, Juul offers customizable auto-shipping plans to ensure that juice is delivered when customers need it. No more hassles placing orders or stopping by the store to pickup refills, simply setup an auto-shipping plan and the juice arrives at your door when you need it. The default plans are:

  • Social – Two pods per week.
  • Regular – Four pods per week.
  • Frequent – Eight pods per week.

That we’re aware of, the company also offers one other flavor of pod, “mango.” This in addition to their cool mint, Virginia tobacco, fruit medley, and creme brulee.
