The UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA) has announced the date of this year’s “Going for Growth” forum, which is a one day business-to-business (B2B) event scheduled to take place later this year.
The forum, which is to be hosted in London’s Russell Square, will focus primarily on the United Kingdom’s public health, economy, and what the vaping industry needs to maximize its potential.
Forum Overview
According to UKVIA, this year’s forum will cover the following:
- How the United Kingdom can lead the way in setting industry standards.
- The tobacco industry’s future role in the vaping industry.
- Upcoming vaping innovations.
- Developments in vape product advertising.
- Policies and regulations that support industry growth.
- Supporting and strengthening vaping’s argument as it pertains to public health.
The forum, which is scheduled to take place on April 23, 2018, will feature speakers such as MP Mark Pawsey, the chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for E-Cigarettes, and JAV Vapour CEO Neil McCallum, who previously held the position of Head of Facilities and Estates at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
Drinks reception and networking are scheduled to take place between 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., just after the forum’s closing remarks.

Cost To Attend
For members, the cost to attend this year’s UKVIA Forum is £175 plus value-added tax (VAT). For non-members, it’s £275 plus VAT and for public sector attendees and charities, the cost is £150 plus VAT.
