DynaVap Takes A Low-Tech Approach To Vaping With Manual Vaporizers

In the world of vaporizers, which is filled with hi-tech battery powered devices, the Wisconsin-based DynaVap company stands out from the crowd with its low-tech approach to vaping: manual vaporizers.

Their line of manual vaporizers, which some may find reminiscent of the VaporGenie, have received a warm welcome from some members of the dry herb vaping community, however, others have been left wondering what a VapCap even is.

VapCaps

The VapCap vaporizers by DynaVap, as we noted, are manual vaporizers. What this means is that they don’t have an internal power source and instead rely on an external source of power to provide the heat necessary for vaporization. In other words, you need a lighter, torch, or similar to use a VapCap vaporizer.

Torches

DynaVap, knowing that their customers require external power sources to use their vaporizers, has not surprisingly unveiled a line of portable torches, including the butane powered Conquistador Quad-Torch and more.

How VapCaps Work

The VapCap line of portable vaporizers work similar to how the VaporGenie vaporizers work in the sense that you load them up with dry herb and then apply an external heat source, such as the flame from a torch, to the outside of the vaporizer. The heat penetrates the vaporizer, reaching the herb inside and heating it up to vaping temperatures. If you’ve used a smoking pipe or similar, you’ll likely have little to no trouble operating a VapCap vaporizer.

All you do is twirl the tip (the cap) of the vape around in the torch’s flame and once you hear the click, give it a rip. That’s all there is to it.

Models

There are a few different models to choose from at this time for those who are interested in VapCap vaporizers. Planet of the Vapes, an online retailer of vaping products that sells the VapCap line of manual vaporizers, has published a VapCap buyer’s guide to help vapers figure out which model is right for them. Mind you, with all of the variations available, their buyer’s guide may very well come in handy if you decide to pick one up for yourself.

The main models to choose from are:

  • Omni
  • “M”
  • VonG

The VonG VapCaps are compatible with water pipes for hydro-filtration. The “M” series is the most economical. And the Omni VapCaps are essentially the high-end luxury models. Consumers can also choose to build their own VapCaps, mixing and matching DynaVap’s various VapCap components to create custom vapes.

Where To Buy

You can buy VapCap vaporizers online from a number of retail outlets, including Planet of the Vapes, which carries not only VapCap products, but a wide range of vapes and vape accessories from other top manufacturers.
