Select Oil Reaches Agreement With Pax Labs To Fill Era Pods With Distillate

Pax Labs sells their Pax Era vaporizer, which is designed for use with concentrate-filled Pax Era Pods, but they don’t sell their pods direct to consumers. Instead, they rely on third-party entities such as Avitas Agriculture to fill their pods with extracts and sell them to consumers. And now, they’ve enlisted the help of yet another company in their quest to deliver their pods to consumers and that company is Select Oil, an extraction company owned by Cura.

On February 7, 2018, the two companies announced that they had entered into an agreement with one another in which Select Oil will now fill Pax Era Pods with their own award-winning oil and sell the pods to customers.

Select Oil is company that is already known to some in the industry as they’re already involved in the manufacturing of distillate and the filling of cartridges, which up until now, has been their own Select Oil brand pods, which are known unsurprisingly as Select Oil Pods.

What Is A Pod?

A pod is essentially a vape cartridge, which is also known as an atomizer or tank. Pods are designed to be filled with concentrate, which in this case is oil. Contained within the pod is the heating element, which is what heats up the blend and transforms from concentrate to aerosol or vapor.

The pods are attached to a power source, which in the case of portable vaporizers, is generally a battery of the lithium-ion variety.

What Is Pax Era?

Pax Era is a concentrate vaporizer designed for use with Pax Era Pods. Its temperature can be adjusted digitally via the Pax Mobile App, which gives users to precision temperature controls and more.

As for why Select Oil opted to partner with Pax to deliver Era Pods to consumers, Cura co-founder and president Cameron Forni explained in a statement that the partnership offers “a truly unique opportunity for consumers to now have access to PAX’s leading technology, along with Select’s award-winning distillate.” In other words, it helps them push their own product, their distillate, that much further while simultaneously serving to benefit Pax Labs by delivering Pax products that many more consumers.

Pax Era Pods are already available to customers in Washington state thanks to a previously established partnership between Pax Labs and Avitas Agriculture, one of the leading extraction companies in Washington state.
