Those familiar with vape shops like VapeWorld and VaporNation know what Greenlane is all about: selling vaporizers, smoking tools, and related accessories. That was yesterday. Today, Greenlane is leveraging VapeWorld and VaporNation, the latter of which they bought last year, to boost their new store: Vapor.com.
In the case of VapeWorld, the company has opted to close its website and 301 redirect all of its visitors straight to the new Vapor.com store where a text banner near the top of the homepage plainly spells out what has happened: “VapeWorld.com is now vapor.com”. As for VaporNation, how exactly the company is currently or intends on leveraging its e-commerce traffic remains unclear at this time, but if we had to guess, our money would be on VaporNation’s affiliate traffic being diverted to the new store as the VaporNation store remains online and fully functional.
The 301 redirect used to send VapeWorld’s visitors to the company’s new flagship vaporizer store is a type of redirect indicative of a permanent move. This tells search engines that the old VapeWorld website has permanently moved to a new address.
With their new store, it’s business as usual with herbal vaporizers for sale from top brands like Grenco Science, Storz & Bickel, KandyPens, DaVinci, Pax, and Arizer. What’s new is the website, which serves as online store for all the vaporizers, pipes, and accessories that Greenlane sells. Currently, the new store breaks down into six main categories:

If you see this list and you’re wondering what infusion is, think herbal butter making contraptions like MagicalButter and the Levo Oil Infuser. With these devices, vapers can take their leftover vape trash and turn it into reusable oil and butter that they can use to infuse their favorite foods.
As for rolling, if you can’t figure that one out then you may not have smoked before. The rolling section carries rolling papers from companies like RAW and Elements. Surprisingly, the Otto Grinder by Banana Bros isn’t housed in this section, although it clearly relates to rolling as it is an automatic rolling machine that turns dry herbs into cone joints with the press of a button. Instead, the Otto is housed in the grinders section of the website, which is where vapers and smokers will find grinders from companies like Santa Cruz Shredder, Aerospaced, and Space Case — all well known names in the herbal grinder scene.
In the “hot & new” section of their new store, which is where the company highlights what’s new and popular, there are vaporizers like the brand new Firefly 2+ from Slang Worldwide and the AirVape Xs GO as well as crowd favorites like the Ghost MV1 and DaVinci MIQRO.
The “on sale” section where the company highlights which vaping products are on sale currently lists vaporizers like the Dr. Dabber Switch, Arizer Extreme Q, Puffco Plus, Arizer Solo II, KandyPens Galaxy, Arizer Air II, Arizer Go (ArGo), Goboof Alfa, and more. In some cases, the discounts are steep with vaporizers like the Switch being marked down from $399.99 to $319.99, which amounts to a savings of $80 for customers who choose to the e-Rig now while it’s still on sale.
Dabs, dry herbs, oils, and extracts are all supported by the wide variety of smoking and vaping tools that the company offers on their store, making it a one-stop-shop for vapers and smokers alike. There’s even support for e-liquid vapers in the form of vape pens like the Rubi by KandyPens, which boasts a Juul-esque design and a 1ml refillable pod.
As vape news publisher Vapor Insider noted in a recent report covering the launch of the new Vapor.com store, Greenlane has a history of success in the e-commerce space when it comes to vaporizers. VapeWorld, in its prime, was one of the most popular vaporizer stores in North America. VaporNation, which the company bought in 2018, has also held the title of one of the top vaporizer stores on the web.
Beyond retail sales of vaporizers, the company is also fully engaged in the wholesale distribution of vaporizers. To that matter, they’re one of the biggest vaporizer wholesalers in North America.
Just how much business does Greenlane do? Their financial results from the first quarter of 2019 show sales increased 15% to just under $50 million.
In other news, Greenlane has formed a partnership with Bloom Farms to distribute their CBD products across the thousands of vape shops and smoke shops that the company supplies across the United States.
