Hyde Wild Golden Apple E-Cig Review

Vaper Empire E-Liquids

Hyde offers a lot of different flavors of disposable e-cigarettes, including a particular favorite of mine- Wild Golden Apple. Here’s my review.

Tastes Like A Sweet Apple

Wild Golden Apple, as its name implies, tastes just like an apple. It’s sweet, not tart, and it’s very smooth. This isn’t a crisp taste, so to say. It’s more of a mellow vapor, however, the apple flavor is quite pronounced. You definitely won’t wonder what flavor it is after your first puff. No, there’s no questions there, it’s clearly an apple e-juice and it’s one of the better ones out there.

The Hyde Disposable Vape

The e-cigarette itself, by which I mean the vaping device, is a simple e-cig by most measures. It’s not rechargeable and it’s not refillable, which is why it’s called a disposable. You simply vape it until there’s nothing left and then you toss it and pick up a new one.

The battery life is irrelevant since it’s only intended to last as long as the e-juice, which means by the time the battery runs out you’re basically out of e-liquid. If you’re not out of e-liquid by that point, well, tough luck because once it’s done it’s done.

There’s no button anywhere on the device, you just hit it. This is auto-draw technology and it works well. Draw on the mouthpiece and it produces vapor. There’s no wait and there’s no fuss. Simple and easy to use.

Golden Apple E-Liquid

This isn’t my favorite apple e-liquid, as that honor goes to Vaper Empire’s Apple e-liquid, which has more of a crisp taste to it. Then again, it’s hard to compare with a company that’s known for premium e-liquids like Vaper Empire is when you’re talking about a disposable e-cig that’s right there alongside the cheapest of the cheap. Still, Hyde’s Golden Apple is a tasty vape juice and there’s no denying that. It’s actually good enough to be one of the few flavors of Hyde disposables that I use outside of their Spearmint, which is my personal favorite.

Good Enough To Buy

If you like apple e-juice and you enjoy using disposable e-cigs because of how convenient they are, then you might like this Hyde Golden Apple because it checks off all of those boxes. It’s inexpensive, it tastes good, and it uses nicotine salts so you know you’re going to get that nic fix when you hit it.

While it’s apparently available in multiple nicotine strengths, I’ve only found the 5% strength versions at my local vape shop so that’s what I’ve been puffing on. You may find a lower strength version near you or perhaps online, but for me, the 5% nicotine salts are pretty much what I’m looking for at the moment.

Is it worth buying? I would have to say yes, but only if you’re okay with the idea of throwing more money into your vaping supplies than you need to. Even though each Hyde disposable is fairly cheap, their cost adds up pretty quick when you’re vaping them regularly and you could be spending a lot less by using a refillable vape instead. If you want one, I say go for it. It’s cheap enough to test out and if you don’t like it you can always ditch it and go with something else.

Personally, I prefer Hyde to Juul, which shouldn’t be all that surprising given that Juul no longer sells flavored pods in the United States, leaving vapers here with just two choices: menthol and tobacco. If you ask me, both are awful and that’s reason enough to check out Hyde and its wide range of flavors.
