America’s leader in e-cigarettes, Juul Labs, is actively recruiting a new chief marketing officer (CMO), Digiday reports. The company is also looking to fill other marketing roles within its ranks, such as at its offices in India where it’s looking for a head of government affairs and in New York where it’s searching for an international creative director.
The move to shake things up in their marketing department comes at a time when public perception of their company, its products, and marketing efforts are at times seen as less than reputable in light of a slew of negative press coverage tying their products and allegedly their marketing efforts to underage vaping in the United States.
Last year, the company shook up their social media marketing strategy by replacing models with former smokers.
