The Juul Labs company, makers of Juul vaping products, have launched Juul in Canada.
By their own account, their mission is to “impact the lives of the world’s one billion adult smokers – and the five million in Canada – by creating a satisfying alternative to combustible cigarettes.”

As for why the company’s founders, Adam Bowen and James Monsees, founded the company, Monsees indicated in a statement that both he and Adam, who had met at Stanford University, “had been smokers for years” and “knew that smokers who wanted to switch were looking for something that didn’t look or feel like a cigarette,” which is why they created Juul “with adult smokers in mind.”
“Adam and I had been smokers for years, and we knew that smokers who wanted to switch were looking for something that didn’t look or feel like a cigarette. That’s why we created JUUL – with adult smokers in mind. It’s a vapour alternative.”
In regards to their recently announced launch in Canada, Mike Nederhoff, Canada General Manager for Juul Labs, said in a statement that the country’s “more than five million adult smokers deserve a real alternative to combustible cigarettes” and Juul Labs wants “to help Canadian smokers on their switching journey.”

According to a press release issued by Juul Labs announcing the launch of Juul in Canada, Juul vaping products will be available in vape shops and convenience stores across Canada starting in September. And for those who prefer to shop online, there’s Juul.ca – the company’s online store.
