Perhaps the school children in Springfield, Missouri are hiding their vape use or perhaps they’re just not vaping. Whatever the case, a spokesperson for the Springfield Public Schools indicated that the school district is “not seeing an issue” with students vaping, at least not as of present.

Meanwhile, vaping’s increasingly popularity is boosting sales at local vape shops and one vape in particular, Juul, might be contributing more than the rest.

According to Rob Sands, owner of Sunray Vapors in Springfield, business has been booming since he began carrying Juul devices. He first began stocking them last summer after some Missouri State college students asked him if he had any Juuls in stock, KY3 reported.

No reports of students vaping while local vape shops profit from the surge in vape interest? In other parts of the country, some schools are noticing a rise in incidents of students vaping and possessing vaporizers on school grounds, which has proven to be cause for alarm with some parents, teachers, and other school faculty members. What could be so different in Springfield, Missouri that students aren’t vaping while vape store profits are soaring?

By Sands’ account, it’s just a matter of time before high school kids “get their hands on” vapes. Still, by his account, there are “a lot more dangerous things out there.”

“High school kids, like anything, are going to get their hands on it. But there’s a lot more dangerous things out there.”

In other vaping news reported here at Vaporizer Wire, Public Health England found no evidence to support claims that e-cigs could lead to youth smoking in their latest independent e-cigarette review.
