The Vape Store, a vaping supplies shop in Greece, New York, was robbed in a smash-and-grab style burglary that went down in less than a minute.

The culprits smashed their way into the shop using a baseball bat. Once in, an alarm started to ring, at which point one suspect fled while the other broke a glass display. And with that, one of the suspects managed to snatch from the broken display what the store’s owner, Gregory Bauman, estimated to have been “anywhere from $1500-2500 worth of stuff,” ABC 13 reported.

“Somebody smashed the top of our glass and reached in and stole a handful of products, anywhere from $1500-2500 worth of stuff.”

The entire incident was captured on surveillance video.

Bauman is reportedly offering a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest. In the meantime, it’s business as usual at the Greece vape shop, or as Bauman put it:

“Business goes on as normal. We are open at the exact moment the sign said we would.”

He added that the shop didn’t even “miss a moment” since the break-in. They were sweeping up the broken glass and debris the following morning and with that, they were back in business.

Bauman described the aftermath of the robbery, the disarray that the shop was left in, as looking “like a bomb went off” in the shop.

“It honestly looked like a bomb went off.”

At this point, Bauman, who believes that his shop was “definitely targeted” by the thieves, is “just looking for justice and help from the community.”

“We were definitely targeted. There are at least 10 businesses in this plaza, and we were the only ones hit.”

The suspects have been described by local law enforcement as two males.

In the state of New York, vaping is banned in all of the same areas where smoking is prohibited. This state-wide vaping ban was signed into law in 2017 by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
