In the world of vaping, a “flavor bar” is a place where vapers can test and mix e-juice flavors to create their own concoctions or to simply find which flavors they enjoy.

While the word bar seems to imply a physical location where all of this goes down, there are virtual flavor bars in existence and while they don’t necessarily allow users to test the flavors before they buy, they do allow for the mixing of e-juices and the concoction of new flavors.

Regulations Hamper Vape Bars

For some vapers, vape shops, and vape shop owners, the prospect of regulations stifling their ability to test vape juices is already a reality. As a result of indoor smoking ordinances and the like that have been updated in some places to include language banning the use of vapes in all of the same indoor spaces where smoking is already prohibited, some vape shops can no longer legally allow their patrons to test vape juices onsite, leaving the question of whether or not one will actually like a juice they buy up in the air until post purchase.

But not everyone is rolling over and playing dead when it comes to such ordinances, as some shops have actually lobbied their local politicians in a bid to create an exemption for vape shops under their local indoor vaping ban.
