The Zero by Vaporesso, also called the Renova Zero, is a refillable pod system that has quickly become popular with many of today’s vapers thanks to its simple yet useful design. But is it the best pod vape for you or is there something better that you should be buying instead? Read on to find out.
The Zero Works & It Works Well
Small? Yes. Portable? Absolutely. Easy to use? Most definitely. Works well? Better than you might expect.
The Vaporesso Zero is a pod vape that actually works. After having used it for many months, I’ve found it to work well, but I do have one complaint and that is the fact that it occasionally leaks e-juice. Maybe it’s because I’m using it too aggressively at times, puffing on it more than I should, which causes it to leak. I’m not sure that’s why it leaks, but it does leak – at least for me it does.
Regardless, it’s still a pod system that I recommend.
Good Design, Easy To Carry
With a slim battery, the Zero is one of the easiest vapes to carry around. It hardly takes up any space and it’s very easy to hold. Because it’s so small, I sometimes carry a spare battery with me in case it runs out of power while I’m in a situation where I can’t easily recharge it.
I also tend to leave some spare pods in the car, as well as some e-liquid to use for refills. But this just preference and you may find that a single pod lasts you quite some time. For me, I tend to go through a pod in a day or so.
Refillable Pods Are Great
The pods that the Zero uses are designed to be filled and then later refilled once the e-juice in them is used up. I tend to fill them a little shy of full and then refill them once before discarding them. You can try to use them more than twice, but I’ve found that they’re basically done for after two fills. And because the coils aren’t designed to be replaced, the pods become recyclable trash once they’ve gone through a couple of fills.
The main reason why I like the refillable aspect of the Zero system is as follows: I can use whatever e-liquid I want.
Endless E-Liquid Options Are Where It’s At
Not being limited to a handful of e-liquid flavors is an amazing thing. With the Zero, you can use just about anything under the sun. Found an incredible strawberry e-liquid? Use it. Found an iced blueberry vape juice that you can’t get enough of? Then use it, too! Whatever you want to vape, the Zero can likely handle it.
The Zero is designed to support nicotine salt e-liquids, which is not something that all vapes can handle. So if you want to use nic salts or you want to stick the old fashioned freebase nicotine e-liquids, the choice is really up to you because the Zero is designed to handle just about any e-liquid you throw at it.
The Charging Is Quick
I do not like having to wait for my vapes to recharge. This is one reason why I like the Zero. Not that I don’t have to wait, but that I don’t have to wait long. It recharges fast and that gets two thumbs up from me. And because it charges via USB, I can plug in just about anywhere. I leave a spare charging cord in my car so I can charge it while I’m driving and another in my home. Rarely have I ran into the issue of a dead battery, although it has happened on rare occasion. Compared to some of the other pod systems I’ve used, the battery life is praiseworthy at worst.
You Can Change The Voltage
I don’t mess around with my voltage settings much. I usually just leave it on the lowest setting for the smoothest hits, but it can be adjusted. It has three settings in total, which isn’t a lot, but I do notice a bit of a difference when switching between them.
So even though I don’t actually switch between them much and just leave it on the low setting, I do appreciate the fact that the options are there because other vapers don’t necessarily want to use the low setting, as some are sure to prefer the higher voltages it offers.
Variable voltage has quickly become a fairly standard feature in a lot of newer vapes, but even still, some of the more popular pod vapes don’t have this feature. That said, it’s nice to see it included in this vape – even if you don’t use it all that much.
Easy To Use, Good For Beginners
If you’re just now getting into vaping, you’re going to like this vape. There’s not much to it. You just fill a pod with some e-juice, wait a bit for it to soak in, and then slip the pod into the battery and start vaping. You don’t have to push the button on it when you want to vape, you just hit it. It’s easy. I like it and I’m pretty sure you will too.
