Can You Put Regular E-Juice In A Pod System?

Vaper Empire E-Liquids

Wondering if you can put regular vape juice in a pod system vape? The answer is yes. Pod vapes work with both freebase and nicotine salt e-liquids, however, the reverse is not always true.

Nicotine Salts With Sub-Ohm Vapes

While pod systems work with virtually all types of e-liquids, sub-ohm vape users must be careful with what vape juices they use with their device. The reason for this is nicotine salts are generally not recommended for any sub-ohm vapes, as these types of high-powered vaping devices don’t work well with higher concentrations of nicotine like those often found in e-liquids that contain nicotine salts.

Pod Vapes And E-Juice

One of the nice parts about using a refillable pod vape is that it can be used with just about any e-liquid. If you’re using nic salts, you’re likely good to go because pod vapes are generally designed with nic salts in mind.

If you happen to be keen on a particular e-liquid that’s made with freebase nicotine, you shouldn’t have any problem using it with your pod device. It’s really only sub-ohm vapes that vapers have to be careful with when it comes to what e-liquid they’re vaping. If it’s sub-ohm, chances are you shouldn’t be trying to vape any e-liquids with high concentrations of nicotine.

The reason why nic salt juices are often higher concentration is due to the fact that they can be. While freebase nicotine gets very harsh at higher concentrations, nic salts are often engineered to be smooth when vaped at higher concentrations. In fact, being able to use higher nicotine strengths is one of the benefits of using nicotine salts in place of other types of nicotine.
