Before getting into what pod juice is exactly, there are two key vaping terms to wrap your head around. Let’s start with e-liquid, which is the liquid that goes inside e-cigarettes and other vaping devices. This is where the flavor comes from and it’s also where the nicotine comes from. Another name for e-liquid is vape juice. The word “juice” is sometimes used by itself as another name for vape juice. So when you see “juice” in the context of vaping lingo, it’s likely a reference to e-liquid, which is also known as vape juice and e-juice.
So what’s the pod part?
The pod part is a reference to vape pods or pod vapes. To explain, a pod vape is an e-cigarette that uses what’s called a vape pod. The vape pod holds the e-liquid. Some vape pods are refillable, others are not.
So when you hear pod juice, it’s a reference to the e-liquid that goes inside of a vape pod that’s used with a pod vape.
Is Pod Juice Different?
If you’re wondering what the difference between vape juice and pod juice is, well, there are a couple of answers to this. The first answer is nothing because pod juice is vape juice. The second answer is that pod juice can be different from what one might call “normal” vape juice because pod systems are typically designed to work with nicotine salts and not all e-cigarettes and vaping devices support nicotine salts.
