For those who want to wipe the slate clean and start over fresh with the default factory settings on their DaVinci IQ, there’s no need to mail it in for repair because it’s as easy as pressing a button and counting to ten.
How To Reset The DaVinci IQ
To rid yourself of all of your settings and start anew with a brand new IQ (software-wise), simply press all three buttons on the side of the IQ and hold them for 10 seconds straight. After this, your IQ will be just like it was the day you got it.
Note: Device must be turned off in order for the factory reset function to work.
From there, you can proceed to reconfigure it to your liking – if so you choose.
And for reference, the three buttons that must be simultaneously held down are the up/down buttons and what is known as the Control Button.
