Do Juul Pods Leak?

Vaper Empire E-Liquids

Wondering if Juulpods leak? The answer is yes and it’s not as uncommon as you might think. In this guide here on Vaporizer Wire, we’re going to tell you the reasons why they leak, how common leakage is, and what you can do to prevent it from happening.

According to Juul Labs, minor leaking with their company’s pods “is not uncommon during use,” however, it should not persist under what the company refers to as “normal use.” And if yours is leaking, there’s a chance you’re not using it right.

How To Properly Use A Juul Vaporizer

When using a Juul device, its manufacturer, Juul Labs, suggests puffing gently – this as opposed to aggressively hitting it. Relax the mouth and gently inhale.

And when inserting the pod, don’t squeeze it from its sides. Instead, place your fingers on the outer edges of the mouthpiece as you click it in place.

Troubleshooting Leaks

If your Juul pod is leaking while you use it, Juul Labs suggests wiping off the juice before inserting the pod back into the vape. However, if there is excessive leaking even while following the aforementioned usage advice, Juul Labs suggests you contact their customer care team.

If you happen to get Juul’s e-juice on your skin, its manufacturer suggests you wash it off with soap and water.

Why Juul Pods Leak

There are a number of reasons why Juul pods leak. One of the more common reasons why they leak is as a result of users drawing too hard while using them. Puffing aggressively can cause the juice contained within a pod to come up into the air path and reach the user’s mouth. Squeezing the mouthpiece too hard with one’s teeth or lips can increase the pressure, which in turn can result in vape juice coming up and out the mouthpiece.

Another reason why their pods sometimes leaks is altitude change, as drastic changes in altitude can cause the pods to leak. And yet another reason is excessive humidity.

Storing Juul Pods

If you have to store your pods for whatever reason, Juul Labs suggests storing them at room temperature in a dry environment. This will help preserve the blend until it’s ready to be used. Doing otherwise may result in an acceleration of the degradation process.
