Before we get too deep into this, we just want to explain that the actual costs may differ from one user to the next. This is merely our own cost analysis based on the usage of one vaper that uses Juul products on a daily basis– a daily vaper, if you will. This vaper is the writer.

After smoking cigarettes for years, I eventually made the transition over to vaping with the help of electronic cigarettes. Juul was one of these products and today, it’s all I use.
The Cost
Having been a pack-a-day smoker for years, my rate of nicotine consumption has undoubtedly been quite high for some time. Having switched over to vaping, I find myself continuing to consume a considerable amount of nicotine, which results in anywhere from one to two pods consumed per day. Generally, it tends to be somewhere right in between those two numbers. For the sake of numbers, I’m just going to call this about 1.5 pods per day.
Over the course of a 30 day month, I consume approximately 45 pods. As Juulpods are sold four pods to a pack, this translates to 11.25 packs. At $14.95 per pack, which is what I typically pay for a pack, this costs me a little over $168 a month, which translates to a bit over $2,000 a year. For me, this is actually a savings in comparison to the roughly $2,750 that I was paying for cigarettes each year at a rate of roughly $7.50 per pack.
The Savings
In other words, switching from vaping to smoking is saving me hundreds of dollars per year. And I feel better for it, not just money-wise, but health-wise as well.
