The American electronic music duo that is Thievery Corporation, which consists of Eric Hilton and Rob Garza, has entered into a partnership with the Pax Labs vaporizer company and Blue River, a manufacturer of cannabis oils, to introduce a new limited edition Pax Era vaporizer and corresponding “Lebanese Blonde” Pax Era pods.

Pax Labs is a U.S.-based vape manufacturer that produces herbal vaporizers for both dry blends as well as concentrates. While their popular Pax 2 and Pax 3 vaporizers do work with concentrates thanks to their handy Concentrate Insert accessory, which transforms them from dry herb vaporizers to concentrate vaporizers in a matter of seconds, it’s the company’s Pax Era vaporizers that are designed specifically for concentrates.
Pax Era vaporizers are designed to work exclusively with Pax Era pods. It’s these “pods” that contain the cannabis oil and due to their design, which does not allow for refilling or reuse, Pax Era users are limited to Pax Era pods.
The cannabis oil flavor that Blue River has injected into Pax Era pods in conjunction with the three-way partnership is known as “Lebanese Blonde,” which is a nod to one of Thievery Corporation’s many hit tracks, titled Lebanese Blonde.
Pax Labs described this new Pax Era Pod flavor as potent, upbeat, and calming while adding that it delivers “cerebral effects reminiscent of the song [Lebanese Blonde] to fans.”

The oil itself was developed by Tony Verzura of Blue River Extracts in Oakland. Using an extraction method based off of practices employed in Lebanon — practices which involve a sifting procedure that Tony has managed to mechanize with the help of modern technology — Tony created the Lebanese Blonde cannabis oil, which is scheduled to be rolled out across California dispensaries this year.
