V2 Cigs Shuts Down, Citing Tariffs And Other Factors

Vaper Empire E-Liquids

The V2 e-cigarette company has ceased operations after years of supplying vapers with its own brand of vaping supplies.

The company, which is owned by VMR Products, has been in business for nearly a decade, so why the sudden change? According to a message shared on the company’s website, their vaping products have been on the receiving end of tariffs that “will dramatically alter” both their profitability and cost structure. Taking the impact of tariffs into consideration as well as “other factors,” the company made the decision to discontinue their operations.

As of November 2, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), V2 Cigs is no longer in business. As a result, consumers can no longer purchase products from the company as they are no longer accepting new orders.

Meanwhile, there may still be some V2 products available through local retailers, however, those retailers won’t be receiving any new inventory from the company as they’ve ceased sales of their products to third parties.

The company’s Vape4Free program has been discontinued as of November 1, 2018. The VMR warranty on V2 and Vapor2 products will continue to be honored until December 17, 2018. For those with warranty claims, the cutoff point for submitting claims is December 17, 2018.
