Viggo Vape Review - Vaporizer Wire

The new Viggo pod system from Vaper Empire is not the first pod vape this reviewer has tested. It surpasses the wildly popular Juul vape by leaps and bounds, offering better tasting e-liquid in more flavors, a longer lasting battery, superior vapor production, higher capacity pods, and better overall feel. So what’s not good?

Nicotine & Nic-Free Vape Pods

Viggo pods come in two nicotine strengths, which might not seem like much but they’re actually one of the few disposable pods that come in nicotine-free (0% strength). The other available strength at this time is 3%.

Multiple Pod Flavors

As for pod flavors, there are 6 flavors to choose from right now, but that could very well change if Vaper Empire decides to offer more of their premium e-liquid flavors to Viggo customers. As it stands, the company has an expansive selection of vape juice flavors to choose from for vapers who want bottled e-liquid, but this doesn’t yet translate into a wide selection for their pod customers. If this vaper had to guess, it’s likely that the company will eventually release more flavors for their pod system.

Looks Good, Feels Good

Aesthetic wise, the Viggo looks great. It’s wrapped in a soft matte black metal that’s clearly durable yet still very comfortable to hold. It’s allegedly ergonomically designed, which is perhaps why it’s so nice to hold and use.

A Proper All-Day-Vape With Fast Recharging

Beneath the sleek exterior is a powerful (for a pod vape) 400 mAh battery that recharges in one hour. That’s a very fast recharge time given how long it lasts between charges, which is well over a day with heavy use. Vaper Empire claims the battery will last the average vaper 3 days between charges, but this isn’t a claim that I’ve actually put to the test because I always charge it at night to make sure it’s ready to go in the morning. Either way, it certainly lasts longer than I need it to because I’ve yet to have it run out of battery juice while I’m using it.

Variable Voltage To Control The Vaping Temperature

The variable voltage is a nice, modern touch that adds a level of sophistication not always seen in pod vapes. The Juul, for example, does not have this feature. Changing the voltage is easy, you just click the button 3 times and it switches. A little light on the battery tells you which voltage you’re on. Personally, I like to use the lowest setting as it rips hard enough for me without cranking up the voltage.

Ergonomically Designed Leak-Free Pods

The pods are really easy to use and I’ve yet to run into one that leaks. With the Juul, I’ve had so many leak in my mouth it’s not even funny. So the leak-free design is definitely a much welcomed feature. To use a pod you just take it out of the wrapper, pop it into the battery and with a snap it connects thanks to the magnets that secure it. The pods seem to be shaped to fit the contours of the mouth, making it surprisingly comfortable to puff on — I guess this is yet another example of its ergonomic design.

Incredible Flavors

The flavors that the pods come in are awesome. The apple pods are definitely some of the tastiest I’ve ever puffed on and the orange crush pods are so tasty it’s hard not to indulge at every opportunity.

Nicotine Salts, Better Than Freebase

For e-liquid, Viggo uses Vaper Empire vape juice. Unlike the rest of Vaper Empire’s e-juices, the vape liquid that they use in their pods is made using nicotine salts. While the original nic salts first seen in use with e-liquids were less than impressive, what Vaper Empire uses is formulated to provide a better vaping experience. They offer improved throat hit and better nicotine absorption than standard salts and are, for all intents and purposes, superior to the freebase nicotine typically used in e-liquids.

Truly Portable

As for the overall size of the device, it’s perfect. It fits nicely in the palm of a hand and it fits easily into just about any pocket. While small, it still packs a serious punch, providing vapor in such an abundance that I tend to take somewhat small rips when using it.

Enough E-Liquid To Last The Day

Between the 1.8ml of e-liquid that each vape pod holds and the more than a day of battery life that it offers when fully charged, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to find that the Viggo has quickly become my preferred pod system when I’m vaping disposable pods. It’s a proper all-day-vape (ADV) that’s highly portable, very easy to use, and just all around convenient in every way possible.

The Best Vape Pod System

This is the pod vape to buy if you’re looking for something that’s as easy to use as a cig-a-like, only with the power of something more in line with a vape pen. It’s basically the best of all worlds.
