What Is A Vape Pod?

Vaper Empire E-Liquids

A vape pod, also known as a cartridge, is used in conjunction with pod-based vaporizer systems such as Juul, Rubi by KandyPens, and many others.

Pods contain e-juice, either infused with nicotine or without, and are attached to the vapes that they correspond with to produce vapor for the sake of inhalation.

The Difference

With a traditional liquid vaporizer, when the juice runs dry, the user replenishes the stash by adding more juice to the tank. However, with pods, the pod is simply discarded and a new one attached as each pod comes prefilled with e-juice. Although, this is not the case with all pod systems as pod systems such as the one used by the aforementioned Rubi vape are actually refillable. In the case of Juul, they are not.

What makes some users attracted to pods is their ease of use. Whereas it can be burdensome to refill tanks with juice, some pod systems, such as Juul’s, remove the burden of having to refill tanks. Instead, they offer users the ability to simply detach and discard used pods once they’ve been depleted, at which point a new one is simply attached and the vaping continues.
