VapeWorld, an online retailer and distributor of vaping and smoking products, now carries the Yocan Hive 2.0, a portable vaporizer designed for liquid and solid concentrates.
This box mod comes with two atomizers, one for oil and one for wax, as well as a connector, micro-USB cable, loading tool, and operating manual.
It’s a top-fill design so no squonking here, just some good old fashioned top filling action. And unlike a lot of the other box mods that are on the market right now, it’s super compact, making it one of the more portable of the portable box mods.
Like a lot of the vape pens out right now, it’s easy to use. Press the power button five times and it turns right on. When this happens, users will see a blue light that flashes three times, letting users know that it’s on and ready for use.
Variable Voltage
Variable voltage is one of the mainstays of this vaporizer, offering users the ability to adjust the voltage and in turn, adjust the vaporizing temperature at which it operates. To switch between voltage settings, users simply press the power button three times in quick succession, which rotates through the different voltage settings.
- One Blue Light = Low Voltage
- Two Blue Lights = Medium Voltage
- Three Blue Lights = High Voltage
Charging
When all three blue indicator lights flash 10 times, it’s time to recharge the battery. While charging, users will notice three blue lights flashing in a loop. Once it’s charged to 35%, one light will stay lit while the others continue to flash. At 70% charge, the first and second lights will remain lit while the third continues to flash. And when it’s 100% charged, all three lights will flash eight times and then the lights will go out.
The device is powered by an internal 650 mAh battery.
Usage
To use the Hive 2.0 vaporizer, users must simply press and hold the power button, which is capable of delivering up to 15 seconds of continuous heat. This, in our opinion, is plenty of time to get some serious rips. In comparison, many similar vapes offer only 10 seconds or so of continuous heat.
Warranty
Hive 2.0 vapes are covered by a limited warranty. The battery itself is covered up to 6 months under this warranty and the atomizers are covered up to 30 days.
