Police in San Diego, California are keeping their eyes peeled for a couple of burglary suspects after a vape shop in Kearny Mesa was robbed on Tuesday morning.

Security cameras at the store, the Switch Vape Shop located on Convoy Street, captured footage of the robbery, which reportedly took place at some time around 2:30 a.m. on May 8, 2018.

The surveillance footage of the incident was posted online by the shop where it has been viewed over 10,000 times.

The suspects behind the robbery broke the store’s front door, which was made out of glass, and then entered the shop and proceeded to fill up a number of large containers with vaping supplies.

It all went down in about two and half minutes, leaving the store’s manager wondering where all of the stolen merchandise is headed.

The store manager, who was not identified in news reports, was quoted by NBC San Diego as having asked, “how are they getting rid of it?”

By his account, they’ve “been looking at eBay, Offerup, Craigslist,” but have yet to determine where the stolen merchandise is being unloaded.

“This is happening at multiple locations, or this is the same people that are hitting multiple locations. They have all this inventory and how are they getting rid of it? We’ve been looking at eBay, Offerup, Craigslist.”

While it’s unclear where exactly the culprits behind the robbery are unloading the stolen merchandise, what is clear is that the robbery is one of many that have hit brick and mortar vape shops around the country.

Where do you think the thieves are selling the stolen merchandise?
