The Crafty, a portable vaporizer by Storz & Bickel, is one of the most popular herbal vaporizers in the portable space and even though it’s made by the same company that makes the world renown Volcano, it too must undergo the review process in which testers weigh in with their thoughts on its quality or lack thereof.
Curtis Silver, a Forbes contributor who covers consumer technology and social media, has one of the latest reviews of the Crafty vaporizer. In his review, which was published on the Forbes website, he referred to the Crafty as “the first vape that might unseat the Pax 3” in his own “personal vape wars.”
Silver, notably, has reviewed quite a few vaporizers over the years, including the DaVinci IQ, Pax 3, Haze Dual V3, Prohibited 5th Degree, KandyPens Rubi, Utillian 721, and more. With so many vaporizer reviews under his belt, Silver has become somewhat of a staple in the vaporizer review scene. And now, in his Crafty review, he makes apparent that he’s finally stumbled across a portable vaporizer that can compete with the likes of the ultra popular Pax version 3.
What is exactly that he appreciates about the Crafty? While quite a few things, he just can’t seem to get over the quality of its vapor production as he wrote in regards to the Crafty that he’s “not come across a vape with such a powerful draw that is as smooth as the Crafty” — a point he makes just after noting that it’s “worth the price of admission for the cooling unit alone.”

The cooling unit is one of the design features that helps set the Crafty apart from the crowd. What it does is cool the vapor produced, making it that much cooler by the time it reaches the user. The end result is smoother hits of vapor for users.
