A man in Idaho allegedly robbed a bank and then used some of the cash to buy vaping supplies, among other things.

The suspect, 36-year-old Craig Blankenship, allegedly walked into Bank of Commerce in Idaho Falls, Idaho and handed a note to a one of the bank’s tellers demanding cash in the form of $100, $50, and $20 bills, according to a police report filed by the Idaho Falls Police Department.

After receiving the stolen cash, which an audit of the teller’s drawer determined to be $1,672, Blankenship allegedly went to a store located on the 400 block of South Utah Avenue and purchased a number of items, using cash of course. These items included a vape, vape juice, and a vape battery.

According to police, he then went around town and purchased some clothing from a number of outlets before eventually renting a room at a local hotel.

The Idaho State Journal reported that officers tracked Blankenship to the hotel where they then arrested him.
