VapeStraight, a newcomer in the vaporizer review scene, has reviewed yet another portable vaporizer and this time it’s the DaVinci IQ.
Cutting straight to the chase, VapeStraight likes the IQ. In fact, they claim to be “extremely happy” with it. For what reason? Well, it’s not one reason, but many. One of those reasons is the cloud density. To put it in their own words, they’re “stoked on the cloud density” delivered by the IQ.
As for who they’d recommend it to, they say it’s good for “anyone looking for a quality, compact, on the go vaporizer.” So if it’s quality you’re after and it’s a portable vaporizer that you need, then the IQ is a sound option by their account. And they’re really not the only ones that think so – just take a look at some of the other DaVinci IQ vaporizer reviews and you’ll likely find a similar consensus on the matter.

They also note the use of zirconia ceramic, which is notably much stronger than glass, yet similarly inert — allowing for the production of extremely clean and pure vapor. And there’s another benefit: its low thermal conductivity in comparison to other ceramics, which, in simple terms, means that the vapor it produces won’t be as hot as the vapor produced by other vaporizers that utilize non-zirconia ceramics in their heating elements.
The Vape
Not sure what the DaVinci IQ is? It’s a portable vaporizer designed to vaporize not concentrates, but dry herbs. This isn’t an e-liquid vaping machine so don’t even think about dropping any juice in it because it’s designed for one thing and one thing only: vaping dry herbs.
It’s made by the DaVinci Vaporizer company out of Las Vegas, Nevada. And while it’s more or less DaVinci’s flagship vaporizer at this time, it’s not actually the newest vape to come out of their labs, as that honor is one claimed by the brand new Miqro vape.
One of the features that helps set the IQ apart from its dry herb competitors is its replaceable battery. While this feature is relatively common among vape mods, it has yet to see widespread use in the dry herb vaporizing scene. With it, vapers can swap their dead battery for a fresh one and continue vaping without having to first plug the vape into its charger. And as it’s a common-to-vaping 18650 battery, it’s easy enough to find a replacement, which you can do at just about any vape shop these days. Although, we do always recommend sticking with the battery provided by the manufacturer, as doing otherwise could prove hazardous.
It also has a digital temperature control system that’s clearly more sophisticated than most as it allows for session temperature programming via its Smart Paths system, which can be customized via its app. Of course, no digital vaporizer would be complete without a display and while the IQ lacks a standard style display, it more than makes up for it with its energy efficient LED dot array, which does a fine job conveying exactly what’s going on with it at any given time.
